American International College

American International College, commonly known as AIC, is situated in Springfield, Massachusetts, United States. It was founded in the year 1885 as the French Protestant College. The college's four degree-granting schools are as follows:

  • School of Arts, Education and Sciences
  • School of Business Administration
  • School of Continuing and Extended Studies
  • School of Health Sciences

AIC has an active Greek life. There are many fraternities and sororities on campus including Alpha Sigma Lambda Society, Psi Chi Honor Society, and Alpha Chi Honor Society. AIC also hosts a number of student clubs and organizations such as the International Business Club, Latin American Student Organization, Physical Therapy Club, Student Government and Hype Club.

American International provides on-campus housing for 781 of its 2,083 (full-time) students (as of 2007).

Students may purchase a meal plan which includes 19 meals weekly.

American International Athletics

School sports include football, basketball, baseball, and track. American International is in the Northeast 10 Conference for major sports.

American International offers financial aid for athletes. Of students receiving athletic financial aid, 94 male students received the aid (men were 63% of those receiving aid) and 55 women were awarded financial aid based on athletics (representing 37% of students receiving such aid) .
