Ancilla College was founded by the Poor Handmaids of Jesus Christ in 1937, near Donaldson, Indiana. It is a private, two year, co-educational, liberal arts community college. The college has a rural campus area of over 60 acres. Ancilla College offers the students with a choice courses leading to associate’s degrees in fields of study such as education, history, business, behavioral science, information technology and science. The college has the following academic divisions:

Ancilla College has an active student life consisting of the Phi Theta Kappa honor society. The college comes out with a newspaper published by the students, known as The Ancilla Times. A student government association is also present in the college.
