Anoka-Ramsey Community College is a public community college, which was founded in 1965. The college operates two campuses, one in Cambridge, and the other in Coon Rapids. The college enrolls more than 10,000 students annually, who can pursue associate and bachelors degree, as well as the certificate degree programs. ARCC is a member of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities System.
ARCC’s Coon Rapids is spread across an area of more than 130 acres. Coon Rapids Campus is situated on the banks of the Mississippi River, twenty miles north of downtown Minneapolis. The American Sign Language Club, Philosophy Club, the Creative Writing Club and the Multicultural Student Club are some of the clubs and organizations at ARCC.
