Antelope Valley College

Antelope Valley College, or AVC, was established on September 10, 1929, as Antelope Valley Junior College. AVC is administered by the Antelope Valley Community College District and spreads over 130 acres in Lancaster, California. The college offers numerous degree programs in more than 65 fields and several certificate programs in approximately 56 vocational areas. In addition, AVC offers scholarships programs such as Antelope Valley College Federation of Classified Employees Scholarship, Frank and Ida Bernatt Family Scholarship Endowment, Francis Kuhn Nursing Memorial Scholarship, and many more.
