Overview

Antioch University Midwest, also known as AUM, and until 2010 known as Antioch University McGregor, is a private institution of higher education situated in Yellow Springs, Ohio, United States. AUM was established in 1988. Its roots go back to Antioch College, which was founded as a non-sectarian and co-educational institution of higher learning in 1852. The college's first president was Horace Mann, known as the architect of the American public school system, who turned down a nomination for governor of Massachusetts to take on his presidency. Antioch College has evolved into a multi-campus university which includes AUM.

AUM offers undergraduate and graduate degree programs in diverse areas of study including liberal arts, health and wellness, human development, and human service administration. It also offers several online courses to the students.

Antioch University Midwest has an active campus life. The student service center of the college organizes various events and programs for the students. The university also operates a radio station known as the WYSO Radio. The student body of the Antioch University includes an impressive number of international students as well.
