Appalachian Bible College, located in Bradley, West Virginia, was founded by Robert Guelich and Lester E. Pipkin in September 1950. Lester E. Pipkin was the first President of the college. The college, which was officially incorporated in 1954, is also known as ABC. The college, which is situated on 100 acres, offers several minor programs in elementary education, general ministry, pastoral studies, family counseling, and youth ministries. It offers a major program in Bible and Theology.
ABC is a member of the National Christian College Athletic Association and their sports teams are nicknamed the Warriors. Students participate in various sports including basketball, volleyball, and soccer. The college provides numerous scholarships such as the Scholastic Achievement Scholarship, the Pastoral Scholarship, the Children of Alumni Scholarship, and the Principal's Scholarship.
