Aquinas College was established in 1961 by the Dominican Order. It is a private Roman Catholic college of higher learning situated in Nashville, Tennessee. The institution is named after Saint Thomas Aquinas. The campus of Aquinas College is spread across an area of more than 80 acres.
Aquinas College offers a number of academic programs leading to degrees in the fields of teacher education, liberal arts, business administration and nursing. It also provides an adult studies degree program.
Aquinas College sponsors several on-campus clubs and organizations, including the Aquinas Student Ambassadors, Sigma Beta Delta, Delta Epsilon Sigma, The Aquinas Classics Club and the Frassati Society, among others.
