Overview

Arizona Western College was established in 1963 and is located in Yuma, Arizona. Apart from it main campus, the college also has a branch campus in Yuma. In addition, AWC has learning centers located in San Luis, Somerton, Wellton and Parker. The college offers more than 90 degrees and certificate programs in diverse areas of study.

AWC is organized into several academic divisions. Some of these include the administration of justice, agriculture business, automotive mechanic, business entrepreneur, computer information systems, environmental sciences, hotel restaurant management and marketing and management. The scholarship programs offered by the college are the AWC Institutional Scholarships, AWC Foundation Scholarships, Mensa Education & Research Foundation Scholarship Program, and many more.

Some of the student clubs and organizations of AWC are the Agriculture Club, the International Team, the Campus Crusade for Christ, Psychology Club, Theater Club, Student Nurses Association and Phi Theta Kappa.
