Arlington Baptist College, also known as ABC, is located in Arlington, Texas. It is a four-year, private Bible College established in 1939 by renowned Fundamentalist J. Frank Norris. ABC was initially known as the Fundamental Baptist Bible Institute. It became the Arlington Baptist College in 1972. Students are offered certificate programs, diploma courses and bachelor’s degrees in areas of study like pastoral ministry, music ministry, youth ministry, counseling, Biblical general studies, Biblical languages and children’s ministry.
ABC has several on-campus student organizations, many of which are operated by the school’s Student Government. It also oversees the cultural, social and spiritual affairs of ABC’s students. Some of the organizations available to students at ABC include the Student Missionary, the Student Preachers Fellowship, Ladies in Fellowship Training and the 4:12 Group. Financial aid is provided to students in the form of awards, scholarships and grants. The Earl K. Oldham Scholarship, the Booker-White Award, the Immy Jarvis/Susan Mcqueen Memorial Scholarship and the Olive Tree Ministry Scholarship are some of the awards and scholarships available at ABC.
