The Art Academy of Cincinnati, popularly referred to as AAC, is located in Cincinnati, Ohio. It was established in 1869 as The McMicken School of Design. It later became an established department of the University of Cincinnati. The institute separated from the University of Cincinnati in 1884, and officially changed its name to the Art Academy of Cincinnati in 1887.
The Art Academy of Cincinnati offers both undergraduate and graduate programs in areas like digital arts, visual communication, art history, printmaking, photography and design.
