Ashland Community and Technical College, also referred to as ACTC, was established in 1938 and was originally known as Ashland Junior College. Located in Ashland, Kentucky, it is among the 16 two-year colleges under the Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS). The college enrolls more than 4,000 students on an annual basis. Students are offered degrees and certificate programs in a range of study areas which include business technology and education, health sciences and education. The college also offers distance learning programs for its outstation students.
The main campus of the college offers its students various clubs and organizations such as the Baptist Student Union, Students in Free Enterprise, Phi Theta Kappa, Rotaract and a Drama Club.
