Assumption College

Assumption College is a privately-run, Catholic, liberal arts institution located in Worcester, Massachusetts, United States. The college was founded on October 1, 1904, by the Augustinians of the Assumption, a Catholic order. In the early years, only male students were admitted into the college. In 1969, this restriction was lifted and Assumption College became fully coeducational. Today, Assumption College sits on a 185-acre suburban campus and grants admission to more than 2,000 students every year.

Assumption College’s sports teams are known as the Greyhounds. The official mascot is the Greyhound. The teams participate in basketball, cross country, baseball, lacrosse, tennis, soccer, track & field, ice hockey, volleyball, and football.

Assumption Athletics

School sports include football, basketball, baseball, and track. Assumption is in the Northeast 10 Conference for major sports.
