Assumption College is a privately-run, Catholic, liberal arts institution located in Worcester, Massachusetts, United States. The college was founded on October 1, 1904, by the Augustinians of the Assumption, a Catholic order. In the early years, only male students were admitted into the college. In 1969, this restriction was lifted and Assumption College became fully coeducational. Today, Assumption College sits on a 185-acre suburban campus and grants admission to more than 2,000 students every year.

Housing and MealsAssumption provides on-campus housing for 1,932 of its 2,550 (full-time) students (as of 2007). Students may purchase a meal plan which includes 15 meals weekly.
Assumption AthleticsSchool sports include football, basketball, baseball, and track. Assumption is in the Northeast 10 Conference for major sports. Assumption offers financial aid for athletes. Of students receiving athletic financial aid, 24 male students received the aid (men were 44% of those receiving aid) and 31 women were awarded financial aid based on athletics (representing 56% of students receiving such aid) .
