Overview

Augustana College Rock Island is located in Rock Island, Illinois, United States. The college was founded in 1860 by the Augustana Lutheran Church and was named the Augustana College and Theological Seminary. The entire campus occupies over 110 acres of land. Students can choose from a variety of programs offered at the college including art history, dentistry, business administration, environmental studies, health and physical education, occupational therapy, and sociology.

The college has a rich Greek life that is revealed through the many Greek organizations including Alpha Sigma Xi, Delta Omega Nu, Phi Omega Phi, Sigma Kappa Tau, Kappa Delta Pi, and Gamma Theta Upsilon. There are other student clubs and organizations such as the Catholic Student Organization, Young Life, American Chemical Society, Martini Swingers, and Latin American Council.
