Overview
Aurora University, also referred to as AU, was established in the year 1893. The main campus is located in Aurora, Illinois, United States. Originally, the university was known as the Mendota Seminary. This university also offers classes in another campus in Williams Bay, Wisconsin. The Aurora campus is spread over an area of more than 200 acres. Students are offered degrees and certificate programs in various areas of study such as business, nursing, and teaching. There are three colleges under the university:
- The College of Arts and Sciences
- The College of Education
- The College of Professional Studies
There are many student organizations and clubs in Aurora University including Games Club, Political Science Club, Student Marketing Association, Kappa Delta Pi, and Native American Club. The students of AU also participate in sports such as basketball, soccer, golf, tennis and softball.
