Overview

Baker University was established in 1858. It has four schools under it, one of which is the College of Arts and Sciences. The campus of Baker University-College of Arts and Sciences is located in Baldwin City, Kansas. The Baldwin City campus offers programs in liberal arts, as students can choose from courses in over 40 academic disciplines. These lead to bachelor’s degrees in arts, science or music education.

Alpha Chi Omega, Delta Tau Delta, Delta Delta Delta, Kappa Alpha Psi, Phi Mu, Kappa Sigma, Zeta Tau Alpha, Sigma Phi Epsilon, Zeta Phi Beta and Zeta Chi are some of the fraternity and sorority chapters available to the students at Baker University. The athletics department fields teams in baseball, basketball, cross country, football, golf, soccer, tennis, track and field, wrestling, softball, volleyball and bowling. The teams are known as the Wildcats.
