Baltimore Hebrew University

Baltimore Hebrew University is located in Baltimore, Maryland. The university was founded in 1919 as the Baltimore Hebrew College and Teachers Training School. The university was given its current name in 1974. It confers master’s and doctoral degrees in Jewish studies and Jewish communal service. Apart from this, BHU also offers a certificate program in early childhood Jewish education.

Baltimore Hebrew University offers distance learning programs to students. It also provides financial aid to its eligible students in the form of federal grants, loans and scholarships. The university also offers academic counseling services.
