Barclay College is a 4-year private college, located in Haviland, Kansas. The college was established in 1917 as Kansas Central Bible Training School. It was founded by Scott T. Clark – an evangelist and teacher. The institute was named Friends Bible College in 1930. The institute adopted its present name on May 5, 1990. The Haviland campus covers an area of more than 10 acres, and comprises 7 primary buildings. Degree programs at the college include bachelor’s degrees in diverse fields. Some of them include pastoral ministry, youth ministry, bible/theology, and music ministry.
The sports teams of the institute compete in intercollegiate soccer, basketball, and volleyball. Intramural sports are offered on campus. Barclay College offers Federal Grants, Institutional Scholarships, and Off-Campus Tuition Scholarship to the eligible students. The Haviland campus houses the Worden Memorial Library. The library has roughly 50,000 books and more than 70 periodical subscriptionsto magazines.
