Bellarmine University

Bellarmine University, also known as BU, is located in Louisville, Kentucky, United States. It was founded in the year 1950 by the Archdiocese of Louisville. Named in honor of the Catholic Saint Robert Bellarmine, the university was originally known as Bellarmine College. BU was granted university status in 2000. Bellarmine University grants degrees through the following academic divisions:

  • Bellarmine College of Arts and Sciences
  • Frazier Thornton School of Education
  • Lansing School of Nursing and Health Sciences
  • Rubel School of Business

Students of Bellarmine University have access to on-campus various clubs and organizations including Phi Beta Lambda, Jazz Club, Biology Club, Omicron Delta Kappa, and Students for Social Justice. BU men particpate in basketball, baseball, cross country, soccer, lacrosse, tennis, golf, and track. BU women are involved in basketball, field hockey, golf, cross country, soccer, tennis, softball, volleyball, and track.
