Overview

Bellevue College, also known as BC, is a community college located in Bellevue, Washington, a suburb of Seattle, United States. It was established in 1966. It enrolls more than 30,000 students annually, making it the largest community college, and second largest institution of higher education overall, in Washington state.

Bellevue offers associate degree programs in diverse areas of study. In 2007, it started offering a bachelor of applied science degree in a few select fields. The college also provides many continuing education programs.

The Associated Student Government (ASG) holds elections for all students annually. The Jibsheet is the weekly, English-language, student-run newspaper of the college. BC participates in the Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges, also known as the NWAACC. Their sports teams are nicknamed the Bulldogs.
