Bemidji State University

Bemidji State University, also known as BSU, is a public state university, located in Bemidji, Minnesota. It was established in 1919 and was originally created as Bemidji State Normal School. BSU records an enrollment of over 4,500 students every year. The university offers various under-graduate and post-graduate programs covering various areas of study. BSU is famous for its writing courses. It is a network of the following schools and colleges:

  • School of Graduate studies

The student body of BSU is diverse and impressive. The university is home to more than 70 registered clubs and organizations and it hosts many Greek chapters. Some of the fraternity and sorority chapters are Alpha Pi Chi, Delta Theta Kappa, Omega Phi Fraternity and Theta Tau Epsilon.

Bemidji State Athletics

School sports include football, basketball, baseball, and track. Bemidji State is in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference for major sports.
