Overview

Established in 1932, Bennington College is a private, liberal arts college, located in Vermont, United States, and spreads across an area of 470 acres. Bennington College's recent enrollments have been over 700 students. The college was initially founded as a women’s college. However, in 1969 it became co-educational. The college offers bachelor’s and master’s degrees in arts, fine arts, writing and literature. It also offers certificates in premedical and allied health sciences.

Bennington College has an active student life. There are a number of student clubs and organizations in the college such as Student Council, Student Educational Policies Committee, Judicial Committee, Program Activity Council and the Student Endowment for the Arts. The college also offers financial aid to the needy students.
