Bergen Community College

Bergen Community College was established in 1965. In addition to its campus in Bergen County, New Jersey, the college also has a learning center in Hackensack. As of 2008, the college enrolled more than 15,000 students. The academic units of Bergen Community College are organized into the following divisions:

  • The Division of Arts and Humanities
  • The Division of Business, Math & Social Sciences
  • The Division of Science and Health

The athletic teams of Bergen Community College are known as the Bulldogs. They are a member of the Garden State Athletic Conference and the National Junior College Athletic Association. The men's sports teams include soccer, basketball, track and field, baseball, tennis, and golf. The women’s sports teams include softball, wrestling, basketball, volleyball, soccer, and cross country.

The student organizations and clubs of the college include the Caribbean Club, Phi Theta Kappa, Dental Hygiene Club, Philosophy Club, Environmental Club, and many more.
