Overview

Berklee College of Music is a private music college, established in 1945. It is situated in Boston, Massachusetts and boasts an enrollment of over 4,000 students. It offers a four-year Baccalaureate’s Degree or Diploma. It was created with the mission to offer training in rock, jazz, and various other contemporary music. With a wide range of performance and nonperformance majors, BCM serves a diverse student body, representing more than 70 countries.

The College provides an array of services for both personal and career development. Many students of BCM have become well known including Bruce Hornsby, pianist; John Petrucci, Guitarists; and Melissa Etheridge, songwriter. The college teams also take part in a wide variety of sports. Their sports teams are nicknamed the Cats.
