Overview

Bethany College is a liberal arts college in Lindsborg, Kansas that was founded by Swedish Lutheran immigrants as a preparatory school in 1881. The college grants Bachelor of Music, Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Social Work, and Bachelor of Music Education degrees. The campus is comprised of over 20 buildings and sits on over 50 acres.

Bethany College has over 45 organizations. Student groups include the Student government, sororities and fraternities, honor societies, professional organizations related to major fields of study, special-emphasis groups, and music ensembles.

The sports teams of the college, known as Swedes, participate in basketball, baseball, football, cross country, soccer, golf, track & field, and tennis. Bethany College has a diverse student body with representatives from more than 10 foreign countries and over 25 states.

Athletics

School sports include football, basketball, baseball, and track. The school is in the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference for major sports.
