Overview

Bethany University, BU, is a private, Christian university in Scotts Valley, California that was founded as Glad Tidings Bible Institute in 1919. It was renamed Bethany College of the Assemblies of God in 1990, and received university status in 2005. BU offers associate's, bachelor's and master's degrees in professional studies and in the arts and sciences. BU is comprised of the following schools:

Bethany University has more than 20 clubs and organizations including the ministry leaders, class government, thestudent senate, theDance Group, and Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE).
