Bethel College Mckenzie, established in 1842, is situated in McKenzie, Tennessee, United States. Originally this college was known as Bethel Seminary and got its present name in 1850. The campus takes up an area of approximately 100 acres. Students are offered degrees and certificates in various subjects including environmental science, business administration, and computer information systems. Housing and MealsBethel provides on-campus housing for 541 of its 2,590 (full-time) students (as of 2008-2009). Students may purchase a meal plan which includes 19 meals weekly.
AthleticsSchool sports include football (Mid-South Conference), basketball (TranSouth Athletic Conference), baseball (TranSouth Athletic Conference), and track (TranSouth Athletic Conference). The school offers financial aid for athletes. Of students receiving athletic financial aid, 242 male students received the aid (men were 69% of those receiving aid) and 111 women were awarded financial aid based on athletics (representing 31% of students receiving such aid) .
