Overview

Big Sandy Community and Technical College was established in 2003. The public, 2-year college is located in Prestonsburg, Kentucky and is among the 16 two-year colleges under the Kentucky Community and Technical College system. The college offers its students degrees and certificate courses in various fields of studies. Online courses are also offered by BSCTC for the convenience of outstation students.

There is a large variety of student organizations and clubs at BSCTC, including Chess Club, Dance Team, Honors Program and Democratic Club. The students of the college actively participate in sports like baseball, soccer and basketball.
