Biola University is an Evangelical, private, co-educational university located in La Mirada, California. It was established on February 25, 1908 as the Bible Institute of Los Angeles. It was renamed Biola College in 1949 and on July 1, 1981, the College was finally named Biola University. The 96-acre, suburban campus now grants admission to more than 3,900 students every year.

Housing and MealsBiola provides on-campus housing for 2,649 of its 4,929 (full-time) students (as of 2008-2009). The school requires freshmen to live on campus. Students may purchase a meal plan which includes 20 meals weekly.
AthleticsThe school is in the Golden State Athletic Conference for major sports. The school offers financial aid for athletes.
