Overview

Black Hawk College was established in 1946 as Moline Community College. The college settled on its current name in 1961. The main campus is situated in the city of Moline, Illinois. In addition, it has an East Campus located in Galva, Illinois. The college also offers several education centers located throughout Illinois. BHC offers more than 110 career programs and around 40 transfer programs. The college is organized into the following academic divisions:

Some of these are the African-American Student Union, Bridges Club, Chi Alpha, College Jazz Society, Buddy Mentoring Club, Delta Sigma Omicron, Habitat for Humanity, Inter-Varsity Christian Fellowship, Quad Cities Anime Society, Soccer Club and the International Student Association.
