Overview

Blackfeet Community College at Browning Montana was established in 1974. Commonly abbreviated as BCC, the college provides post secondary and higher education to the Blackfeet Native Americans. BCC offers certificates and associate’s degrees. The college offers programs in areas such as business management, elementary education, computer science, environmental science and computer science. BCC has a separate department that offers vocational training courses in allied health, construction technology, gerontology, and heavy equipment operations.

Some of the clubs and organizations available to students at BCC include the Checkmate Chess Club and the Rodeo Club. The college also has an athletics department and student government. BCC publishes a campus newsletter called Magpie. BCC provides financial assistance to deserving students in the form of Native American Scholarships and private scholarship programs.
