Overview
The Boulder College of Massage Therapy was established in 1975 by Honora Wolfe and Christina Hammond. It is located in Boulder, Colorado. The institute was founded as the Boulder School of Massage Therapy, and was given its current name in 1997. The campus is spread across an area of 33,000 square feet. The institute grants associate’s degrees in massage therapy, and offers other degree programs in medical massage and craniosacral therapy. It also offers certificate programs in orthopedic and sports massage, spa therapy and The Art of Zen through its continuing education program.
The Boulder College of Massage Therapy’s student body represents more than 20 countries around the world, including Mexico, Taiwan and Japan. The institute’s clinic offers students the opportunity to gain practical training. Some of the scholarship programs offered by BCMT include the Presidential Scholarship, the Kit Faragher Foundation Scholarship and the American Specialty Health Scholarship.
