Located in York, Pennsylvania, Bradley Academy for the Visual Arts was established in 1952 as the York Academy of Arts by local artists. In 2007, the institute was renamed as The Art Institute of York-Pennsylvania. The institute offers various courses in fashion, design, general education and media arts, history of visual communication, public speaking, animation, web design and digital arts.
The students of the institute are involved in several professional organizations such as American Institute of Graphic Arts, National Kitchen and Bath Association, Delta Epsilon Chi and American Society of Interior Designers. Besides, the institute also offers a chapter of a national honor society, Alpha Beta Kappa, to award and promote academic excellence and personal integrity.
