Overview
Brandeis University is a private, co-educational, research university. It is located in Waltham, Massachusetts and was established in 1948. It was named after the first Jewish Justice of the US Supreme Court, Louis Dembitz Brandeis. The campus of the University stretches over mmore than 225 acres of suburban land. Around 3,000 students are granted admission to the university every year.
