Brenau University is a private university for women located in Gainesville, Georgia, United States. It was founded in the year 1878 and was known as the Georgia Baptist Female Seminary. The university enrolls over 2,000 students in four different divisions including Brenau Women’s College, the coeducational Evening, Weekend and Online Colleges, and Brenau Academy.
