Overview

Bridgewater College, also known as BC, is a private, co-educational, liberal arts college located in Bridgewater, Virginia, United states. It was established in the year 1880. The Bridgewater College campus encompasses an area of 190 acres. The college is a member of the Brethren Colleges Abroad and is the first coeducational college in Virginia. It offers more than 40 major and minor degrees and over a dozen specializations in a variety of fields. Various pre-professional programs are also available.

Bridgewater College has an active student life and hosts over 70 on-campus clubs and organizations. Some of these are the Bridgewater College Ultimate Club, Flawless Hip-Hop Dance Team, Music Educators National Conference, and the Awareness Building Outreach Organization, among others. The institution is home to several honor societies including Delta Sigma Rho-Tau Kappa Alpha, Alpha Psi Omega, and Omicron Delta Kappa.
