Overview
Brigham Young University was established on October 16, 1875 as the Brigham Young Academy. In 1903, its name was changed to Brigham Young University. The university covers more than 500 acres of land at the base of the Wasatch Mountains in Provo, Utah. Brigham Young University is divided into the following academic divisions:
