Brown College of Court Reporting and Medical Transcription, located in Atlanta, Georgia, was established by Forrest M. Brown in 1972. Commonly referred to as Brown College, it prepares students for careers as highly skilled court reporters, Communication Access Real-time Translation reporters, and broadcast captioners. Medical transcription is another one of the major programs offered at Brown College. Yet another area of study at Brown College is real-time voice writing.
