Butler Community College

Butler Community College is an accredited, two-year community college located in El Dorado, Kansas, United States. It was established in the year 1927. It was originally named Butler County Community College, as El Dorado is the Butler County seat. It was changed to its present name in recent years. The college enrolls more than 8,000 students each term. There are a number of branch campuses located throughout the area including Andover, Rose Hill, McConnell, Marion, and Council Grove.

Butler Community College’s mascot is the grizzly bear. Their athletic teams participate in a variety of sports including basketball, volleyball, baseball, and softball. The student body of the college consists of an impressive number of International students. There are special organizations to assist foreign students with admission into the college.
