Overview

Butte College is a two-year, community college located between the towns of Chico and Oroville, in northern California, United States. It was established in 1967. The college offers a wide variety of degrees and programs. It also offers online courses. The campus is spread across an area of more than 900 acres.

Butte College aims at offering quality, affordable, educational courses ranging from basic skills to transfer courses to honors classes. The college offers more than 50 diverse career education programs. Butte College’s athletic department offers a wide variety of men's and women’s sports. Their official mascot is the Roadrunner.

Many students of Butte College have gone on to become famous. Some of the notable alumni are Chad Folk, Football player for the Toronto Argonauts; Brett Ratliff, Football player for the New York Jets; and Aaron Rodgers, Football player for the Green Bay Packers.
