California Baptist University

California Baptist University, also referred to as Cal Baptist, is located in Riverside, California, United States. The university was established in the year 1950 and was originally known as the California Baptist College. Cal Baptist enrolls more than 3,000 students on an annual basis. It has several degree granting schools and colleges under it, including:

California Baptist provides on-campus housing for 1,656 of its 3,181 (full-time) students (as of 2007). The school requires freshmen to live on campus.

Students may purchase a meal plan which includes 19 meals weekly.

California Baptist Athletics

California Baptist is in the Golden State Athletic Conference for major sports.

California Baptist offers financial aid for athletes. Of students receiving athletic financial aid, 112 male students received the aid (men were 50% of those receiving aid) and 110 women were awarded financial aid based on athletics (representing 50% of students receiving such aid) .
