Overview
California State University, Fresno was founded in 1911 and is also referred as the Fresno State. The campus covers more than 300 acres at the northeast edge of Fresno, California, and sits at the foot of the mountain range of Sierra Nevada. The sports teams of California State University, Fresno are popularly known as the Bulldogs and compete in the Western Athletic Conference since 1992. The university’s baseball team won the NCAA national championship in 2008.
