Canada College, a community college in Redwood City, California, was established in 1968. It was opened as a part of the three-school San Mateo County Community College District. The University Center of Canada College is the largest in the California community college system. The college's campus is spread across 131 acres of land in the western side of Redwood City.
Associate degrees, telecourses and online classes, as well as transfer programs to a 4-year institution are offered by Canada College. The allied health department, astronomy department, economics department, engineering department, fashion design department, history department and the radiologic technology department are among the various divisions of the college.
A large number of student organizations are sponsored by Canada College. Students can participate in Phi Theta Kappa- Beta Zeta Nu, the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers, Engineering Club, Reel Film Club, Canada Photography Club, Canada Drama Club, Canada Cycling Clu, and the Business Club.
The sports teams of Canada College are known as the Canada Colts. They participate in baseball, soccer, volleyball, basketball and golf.
