Capitol College

Capitol College, located in Maryland was founded in 1927 as the Capitol Radio Engineering Institute. After a few name changes, the college finally assumed its present name in 1987. Spread across an area of 52 acres, the college has above 600 students and is the only independent college dedicated to technology and business. It offers various undergraduate and graduate programs in computer science, engineering, business and information technology. Additionally, the students can also opt for different associate’s degrees.

The college has a tutoring resource center which helps the students in English, electronics, mathematics and other subjects. The students of Capitol College are also a part of several clubs and organizations such as Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers(IEEE), Student Leadership Advisory Board(S-LAB), National Society of Black Engineers(NSBE) and Society of Women Engineers(SWE).
