Carl Albert State College

Carl Albert State College, also known as CASC, is a community college located in southeastern Oklahoma, United States. It was originally established in the year 1933 as Poteau Junior College. The college offers more than 25 academic degree programs, terminal as well as transfer. CASC offers several bachelor degrees through partnerships with Franklin University, Northeastern State University, Southeastern Oklahoma State University, and Mid-America Christian University.

CASC’s athletics department fields both men’s and women’s sports teams. They are nicknamed the Vikings. The teams participate in collegiate sports such as baseball, softball, and basketball. The campus is home to more than 30 student-run clubs and organizations.
