Carl Sandburg College

Carl Sandburg College, named after the famous poet and Lincoln biographer, Carl Sandburg, held its first classes on September 24, 1967. It is situated in Galesburg, Illinois, United States. Carl Sandburg College, or CSC, occupied the location on the South Lake Storey Road in Galesburg in 1969. The permanent facilities of the college were opened in 1976.

Carl Sandburg College features more than 50 occupational programs as well as courses in continuing adult learning in a scientific environment. The college awards approximately 500 degrees and certificates every year. CSC is organized into the following academic departments:
