Overview

Carteret Community College, also referred to as CCC, is located in Morehead City, North Carolina, United States. It was established in 1963 and is part of the N.C. Community College System. Initially, the college offered a few vocational technical courses. CCC now offers several associate degrees, diplomas, and certificate programs in diverse areas of study. CCC is organized into the following academic divisions:

  • Allied Health Sciences Division
  • Art and Sciences Division
  • Business Technologies Division
  • Legal & Community Services Division

CCC's Student Government Association (SGA), which is governed by the Executive Board and the Student Senate, voices the needs and concerns of the students. The organization also helps students to develop their leadership and communication skills. SGA also administers several other student clubs and organizations.
