Overview
The Catholic Theological Union at Chicago (CTU) was established in 1968 when several theology programs conducted by many religious communities united to form one school. It is America’s largest Roman Catholic Graduate School of Theology and Ministry. It offers degrees such as Master of Arts in Theology, Doctor of Ministry, and Master of Divinity. Apart from this it also offers certificates in areas including Hispanic ministry and pastoral studies. Certain courses can also be pursued on-line as well.
The Catholic Theological Union at Chicago has several on-campus student organizations such as Pan African Student Organization, Imagining Peace, Student Representative Council, and Organization for Latino Awareness.
