Overview

Cedar Valley College located in Lancaster, Texas, is a college of the Dallas County Community College District (DCCCD). This community college was established in 1977 and enrolls more than 4,000 students annually. There are several quality degree and certificate programs offered by the college to its students. The programs include business and management, liberal arts and communications, science, information technology and visual and performance arts. The college also offers online courses and distance education programs for its remote students.

There are many students clubs and organizations that center around religion, sports, academics, recreation and art. The students of Cedar Valley College participate in the college sports available on campus such as softball, baseball, and basketball.
