Central Bible College, also known as CBC, is a Christian College located in Springfield, Missouri, United States. It was established in 1922 in response to the heightened need for training ministers and missionaries. Until 1980, CBC was known as Central Bible Institute. The founding father of CBC was D. W. Kerr. CBC offers a wide variety of degrees and diplomas in diverse areas of study. CBC is organized into the following academic divisions:
- The Division of Arts and Sciences
- The Division of Biblical Education
- The Division of Church Ministries
- The Division of Fine Arts and Communication
- The Division of Missions and Evangelism
Central Bible College hosts several student clubs and organizations. Some of them are Campus Mission Fellowship, Campus Radio Station, CBC Amateur Radio Club, CBC Worldwide Internet Broadcast, Delta Chi and the Student Government Association. The CBC athletic teams are known as the Spartans.
