Overview
Central Florida Community College is a fully accredited two-year community college located in Ocala, Florida. It was established as Central Florida Junior College in 1957. Its first classes were held at the Marion County Vocational School in 1958, with an enrollment of only 320 students. It was renamed the Central Florida Community College in 1971. The college offers a wide variety of degrees and programs in diverse areas of study.
CFCC’s campus is home to several student clubs and organizations, including the African American Student Union, The Creative Writers Alliance, Florida's Future Educators of America and the International Club.
